i belive what this quote is saying your attitude is can affect the situation your in, like for example if you have a nasty attitude it can turn or affect the situation badly, but if you have a good attitude it can effect the situation in a good way.

i belive what this quote is saying that your are helping the problem or you are the problem meaning like if your trying to fix something that working but not working properly like a car, relationship, or anything thats fixable.
